Connectivism

How has your network changed the way you learn?

My networked has changed the way I learn because any information that I need is simply at my fingertips with the invention of cell phones and tablets.  There are so many sites that offer information which makes it so easy to search. I can not see searching through a large book to look for specific information. The library actually has digital archived articles and information that is easy to access.

Which digital tools best facilitate learning for you?

There are many digital tools that I love to use. Search engines are the best for gaining information very quickly. If I knew how to navigate search engines the way I do know, I think it would have took half the time to complete them.

How do you gain new knowledge when you have questions?

I personally gain new knowledge through search engines and social networks. Many of my friends have different occupations or have studied certain information. When I have questions and need information then I normally go to Facebook. One time, I wanted to know the best way to clean wall with food on them without scratching the paint. I could have went to Google but decided to post my problem. Many stay at home moms that are my friends gave me great information.

In what ways does your personal learning network support or refute the central tenets of connectivism?

My personal learning network supports the tenets of connectivism. I tend to learn everything through my personal networks. One new way that I learn is through the Walden University group discussions. My main sources of learning come through technology.
